Who I Am.
Zachary Vieira Legat
Graphic Designer, Artist
I am a graphic designer from Seattle, now calling the Ocean State home. I started Sunthief Design seven years ago and have worked on logos & branding, educational curricula, social media assets, and print materials for conferences and events.
I've had an unconventional journey and have worked as a visual and set designer, as an Emergency Medical Technician, in a lumberyard, and as a touring and studio musician writing music for television shows and videogames. These unique experiences have given me opportunities to learn a wide array of skills and to apply creativity to various fields.
I've had the opportunity to partner with local and international charities and non-profits to produce creative solutions and visuals to share their message with a wider audience.
Philosophy.

Kintsugi
kintsukuroi (金繕い, "golden repair")
The Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with urushi lacquer mixed with powdered gold.
Kintsugi reminds us that no matter our difficulties, we can find a way to reframe and find meaning in life. We can heal from our wounds, embrace our imperfections, and become stronger.
